Philly Pretzel Factory Launches “Buckets for Good” Campaign to Support Youth Athletics Nationwide

March 13, 2026

$1 from Every Rivet Bucket Sold Donated to Good Sports During College Basketball Tournament Season

PHILADELPHIA (March 5, 2026) — As basketball fans gather for one of the most exciting seasons in sports, Philly Pretzel Factory is turning game-time snacking into meaningful impact. From March 15th through April 6th, the nation’s largest Philly-style pretzel brand will donate $1 for every Rivet Bucket sold to Good Sports through its “Buckets for Good” campaign.

Available in both Salted and Cinnamon varieties, Rivet Buckets are a fan-favorite — a convenient, shareable option for watch parties and small-group snacking. Now, every bucket purchased helps provide youth across the country with access to the sports equipment and opportunities they need to stay active and thrive.

Since 2003, Good Sports has donated more than $132 million in equipment, serving over 10.8 million kids across all 50 states. The organization partners with more than 2,000 youth sports programs and schools, supplying essential gear to ensure children have the tools they need to participate in. Through “Buckets for Good,” Philly Pretzel Factory is leveraging the energy of tournament season to make a difference for young athletes.

“This felt like a no brainer for us,” said Rose Small, Director of Marketing at Philly Pretzel Factory. “Buckets and basketball go hand-in-hand. You’re grabbing a bucket for game day but now it’s helping kids play sports. That’s something everyone can get behind.”

The campaign will be supported by a four-part social video series featuring themed giveaways and basketball-inspired content. Additional support includes digital advertising, email and push notifications, and in-store marketing materials.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Philly Pretzel Factory will tally total Rivet Bucket sold and present a donation to Good Sports, further spotlighting the shared commitment to expanding access to youth athletics nationwide.
